- Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it

4. Not Medical or Professional Advice
Content on the Site including information about autism, our programmes, and general resources is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, legal, or professional advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare provider, therapist, educator, or other relevant professional.
Any decisions about diagnosis, therapy, education, or care for a child should be made in consultation with appropriately qualified professionals. AAFSOUG facilitates referrals and support but does not itself diagnose or provide clinical treatment unless explicitly stated in relation to a specific programme.
5. Donations
5.1 Processing. Donations made through the Site are processed via our third-party payment provider. By making a donation, you agree to that provider’s applicable terms in addition to these Terms.
5.2 Accuracy. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the payment and contact information you provide when donating.
5.3 Use of Funds. Donations are used to support AAFSOUG’s programmes and operations as described on the Site. Where a donation is made toward a specific project or campaign, we will make reasonable efforts to apply it accordingly, but reserve the right to reallocate funds where a project is fully funded, discontinued, or no longer requires the full amount raised, in order to best serve our overall mission.
5.4 Refunds. Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us at info@aafsoug.org within 14 days and we will review the request in good faith.
6. Volunteering
Submitting a volunteer application through the Site does not guarantee a volunteer placement. All volunteers are subject to our screening process, which may include reference checks and, where a role involves contact with children, additional safeguarding checks. AAFSOUG reserves the right to decline or end a volunteer placement at its discretion, particularly where necessary to protect the safety and wellbeing of the children and families we serve.
7. User-Submitted Content
If you submit a testimonial, story, photo, or other content to us for potential publication on the Site, you confirm that:
- You have the right to share this content
- You give us permission to publish it, in accordance with the separate written consent process described in our Privacy Policy
- You understand that content relating to a child will only be published with the explicit written consent of that child’s parent or legal guardian, obtained separately from general programme consent
You may request removal of your submitted content at any time by contacting info@aafsoug.org.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as partner organisations, payment processors, or social media platforms). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, and including a link does not imply our endorsement. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information on the Site accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AAFSOUG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, or reliance on any information contained on it.
